'Get Nervous' es su álbum más melódico desde 'In the Heat of the Night'. Esto no significa que fuera un regreso a las tendencias new wave. De hecho, canciones como 'Anxiety (Get Nervous)', 'The Victim' y 'Silent Partners' son contundentes rocks agresivos. Pero los elementos pop del álbum y las melodías no dejan lugar a dudas de que lo último en lo que Benatar pensaba era en grabar otro 'Crimes of Passion'.
